Rainbow and Chibi had met at college and Aslan and Rainbow were
roommates; they started recordering some demos, while Michael Falcore
was still working on his material in Toronto.
M.Falcore and Rainbow had been friends since childhood and they used to
play together in other bands, so, when Michael came back to London,
they decided to form a band called Imagica.
When Dank became the keyboarder, Imagica realised their debut with a
first seven song demo and three awesome live shows that earned them the
support of many people in Canada.
In November 2000 Oe joined Imagica on live percussions and in January
2001 some of their songs were on mp3.com. Their fame quickly spread
throughout the internet and their first official website,
nothingandnowhere.com, was on-line in 2001.
When they realised they had won a loyal fan base, they decided to move
to Toronto and start recordering. In the same year Dank left the band
and a new independent EP was released.
Imagica formed in 1999 in London, a city near Toronto, Canada.

When Imagica decided to change their name to avoid any legal
conflict with another band with a similar one, The Birthday Massacre
was officially born.
In July 2002 TBM released "Nothing And Nowhere", an independent album,
in a very limited edition. Meanwhile, they were growing in popularity
in the city and especially on the internet; their live performances
were getting better and better and resulted of great intensity and deep
emotions, because they were gaining confidence thanks to the solid
support of their loyal fans. At that time there were some relevant
changes in the group's line-up: Adm became the new keyboarder in live
performances in 2002; Oe left TBM in 2003 and became a member of Tepid
Lust; last but not least, in the same year, Rhim Aphasia's drumer,
joined the group on live percussions.
At the moment TBM are an independent band, that's gaining international
success thanks especially to the support it has on the net, where its
music and concept are spread by their fans. That's why TBM are very
interested in interacting with their audience and in sharing ideas and
feelings freely through their Forum, "The Dreaming" and "Nothing and
Nowhere".
Their official sites, in fact, are constantly updated and there you can
find the last news, the up-coming shows dates, the new realeases in mp3
format and even their new pics and funny stuff about the band. In the
section "Promote and Emote" there's also the chance to join their
street team and help them promoting the band in your country.
Lately TBM realeased some new songs that are available in mp3 clips on
"The Dreaming" and a video, "Video Kid", that can be also downloaded
from there.
At present they're working at the production of the long-awaited
"Violet EP", which is set for release on Tuesday July 20th 2004.
